Select the CBD concentration that's right for you
As you may have noticed, CBD oil is marketed in a variety of dosages. In general, we find oils ranging from 2.5% CBD to 30%. Of course, the higher the percentage, the more CBD the oil contains.
Contrary to popular belief, high concentration is not always synonymous with better results. Choosing the right concentration for your CBD oil intake depends on the condition you wish to improve. In general, we recommend :
- 2.5% to 10% for relaxation ;
- 5% to 20% for stress, anxiety and to promote sleep;
- 20% to 30% for more serious medical conditions.
Adjust the dosage gradually
The body's reaction to CBD is relatively unpredictable. Each consumer will feel the effects of cannabidiol more or less strongly and instantaneously. It is therefore advisable to gradually adjust the dosage ingested.
Specialists recommend a trial dose of one or two drops, concentrated at 5 or 10%, taken sublingually, to see how your body reacts to the product. You can then start with 20 to 50 mg of CBD a day. Once your body has become accustomed to the product, we recommend 100 to 300 mg of cannabidiol per day.

For a general feeling of relaxation and well-being, we recommend taking up to 300 mg 3 to 5 times a day, throughout the day, from the time you get up until you go to bed. Those wishing to stimulate their appetite can consume CBD oil around 20 to 30 minutes before mealtime. Consumers looking for sleep-inducing benefits can ingest CBD a few hours before bedtime (maximum 3 hours before).
Be careful, however, not to consume too much of the product before an activity that requires a high level of attention.
Leave the CBD oil to work
We can't stress this enough: let CBD oil work! When CBD oil is taken sublingually, it must be kept under the tongue for about 1 minute. In this way, cannabidiol is absorbed through the mucous membranes of the mouth without reaching the liver or digestive system. As a result, it enters the bloodstream more quickly.
Alternatively, CBD oil can be consumed in an infusion. However, ingested in this way, CBD will take much longer to act. In fact, the molecule has to pass through the digestive system before circulating in the bloodstream - which takes around 1 h 30.
Do not use CBD oil as a remedy or medicine.
CBD oil is not considered a medicine. In fact, this product is a dietary supplement. It is not a substitute for a healthy, balanced diet or appropriate medical treatment.
